Dr Ochuwa Babah is a Senior Lecturer at Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, College of Medicine, University of Lagos and an Honorary Consultant at the affiliated teaching hospital, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Lagos, Nigeria. She is a fellow of both West African College of Surgeons (WACS) and National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN). She has keen interest in teaching, research, and community service. Clinically she has passion for obstetrics especially management of high risk and complicated pregnancy conditions in a bid to improve maternal and fetal outcome. She has authored 29 publications in peer reviewed journals and has co-authored 3 undergraduate and postgraduate book chapters. She has served as Principal Investigator of 2 research grants and Co-Investigator of 3 research grants. Her research interest is on fetomaternal and benign gynaecological conditions.
